We are redoing bathroom I ave a stand-aid from Iowa but putting new toilet Koehler with bidet cleaning functions stand-aid people don’t think their portable product will work with this I need any solution to raise me off toilet seat any ideas?
Let me think about this, Gary. Perhaps a chair like these might be helpful? http://www.1800wheelchair.com/browse/500/bath-room-wheelchairs
I don't know other than some of the supplies dancer mom attached, but I did see this online, which I'd never seen before, you put it under the toilet. Not sure if it would go under a Kohler bidet...I will keep my eyes open!

hoping to incorp StandAid since I have one

I am familiar with the LiftSeat product out of Illinois -- we recently got one for my dad who has IBM. It works particularly well for him b/c of the adjustable height and small degree of forward tilt -- he's 6'3". I know there are also overhead track lifts/slings designed for toilet use, but not sure if you're wanting to go that route. Wish I could be of more help. I know how frustrating it can be trying to find med. equipment that fits the bill!

Gary,
Was watching youtube video on ibm (see link above) and noticed a toilet "mount" in the video (around 7min:30 sec mark). Have no idea if it is a commercial item or a home-made job. You might post a response at the site asking for information -- the people featured in the video may monitor the youtube sight. Hope that all made sense!
