I don't have a diagnosis, and am looking for one. Have severe weakness in my legs. It started after I was put on Seroquel. I read that some drugs may cause myositis. I wonder if any of you knows anything about this, in particular if the drug Seroquel could cause myositis. Or if any antidepressants may cause myositis.

If you are able, please see a rheumatologist to inquire about having some bloodwork done to look for inflammatory markers and autoimmune flags.
This will be the first step in confirming if what you are experiencing is autoimmune or myositis.
A rheumatologist will also be able to help you with any questions that you have regarding research that shows any relation to other drugs. I personally have not heard of any medication-related on-set of myositis, but a doctor can discuss further.
